Choosing BlackBerry As Your Next Smartphone

Posted by

BlackBerry once used to be the coolest phone out there, it was a sign of affluence and class. With the advent of iPhones and Android, BlackBerry has only been going down. The reason being pretty obvious that mobile apps greatly increased our productivity and entertainment but BlackBerry was arrogant, it did not synchronise with the changing times and today we have a highly saturated mobile phone market but the BlackBerry is a rare sight. However, that doesn’t lead us into thinking that its not a good buy, BlackBerry can still be a hell of a phone for many including me.

BlackBerry Priv

While BlackBerry devices almost always stand out when in your hand but the Priv carries the tradition to a whole new level. The curved glossy screen with a sliding keyboard looks highly attractive with a 5.4″ display. The phone gives a charging bar in green on the curved edge that adds to the looks and indicates charging percentage. The best thing about it probably is that it runs Android. Other than that it comes with a 3410mAh battery and a 1.44GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. Pretty cool!

BlackBerry Passport

The Passport also runs android and though it may always stand out but not everyone can easily adapt themselves to comfortably use a phone with an unusual shape. It comes with a 3400mAh battery and a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. A much higher processing power than the Priv.

Porsche Design

The Porsche Design looks particularly sexy and is one good looking phone that is fun to carry around because of all the attention this device can attract. Under the beautiful casing is a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon S2 processor and a 1230 mAh battery. The Porsche runs on a BlackBerry OS 7.0 so no Android here.

BlackBerry Z10

Though the Z10 may not particularly stand out because of its looks but this is a super reliable phone when it comes to performance and I have personally used this device and seen it not once come up with issues for 4 years. It survived countless falls and water related incidents so for all those out there looking for something for a rough job then here is one phone that you won’t encounter cracked screens with. Its not an Android operated device but the BlackBerry OS 10 strongly competes when it comes to productivity and features.

BlackBerry Aurora

There’s nothing extra ordinary about the looks of this phone but let’s not judge the book by its cover. The new release comes with a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 and a 3000 mAh battery under a 5.5″ screen. A 4 GB RAM along with everything else ensures that the phone shouldn’t slow down and the Android OS makes the device a whole lot easier to use after most of us have become used to android systems.
